My name is Brianne Cannon. I am the Coordinator for The Vineyard (vineyard.lds.org) at BYU-Idaho. The Vineyard organization at BYU-Idaho is supported through Student Service Activities. I have had the privilege of working with Marisol Ortega for a little over three months now, and it has truly been a joy.
Ever since Marisol stepped in to be a manager for the Vineyard, she has fit our needs exactly. One of my previous managers had some unexpected family problems and had to quit on very short notice. Marisol came from our pool of volunteers; she was willing and enthusiastic about helping the Vineyard progress and I had no doubts with trusting her to follow through as the new manager. She comes to every meeting punctually and with a smile on her face, and I find that invaluable. I have very much appreciated the thought and effort that she puts into everything that she does—the way that she picked up after the old manager showed me a lot about her positive character and good intent. I admire the motivation that drives her to bring improvement and success.
I am happy to recommend Marisol for any position because I have seen the way that she is driven to work and make sure things get done exactly as they need to. I appreciate the way that she takes the work personally and finds a way to go the extra mile. She is a happy, enjoyable, kind person who is easy to communicate with, and those qualities make her a valuable team member and leader.
